I will say, I was a tad bit disappointed to find that the bananas on the packaging were not the actual size of a banana, and my attempt to fool my package recipients into thinking that I had finally lost it and glued a bunch of bananas to the side of the packaging has fallen to the wayside, but other than that I found the product wonderful. It's built of a decent material, presumably waterproof if I had to guess, though I haven't fully submerged it into any puddles outside my apartment in the potholes that delve halfway into the earth's core, nor have I tried taking a bath with it. Yet. But I would say the material does look waterproof and that offers a good deal of reassurance in terms of the protection of any materials, especially paper ones, inside. The design is lovely beyond all measures, including the measures of it next to an actual banana pictured in the first two pictures attached to this review. I found the design truly brings a smile to the face of those who see it (ie. the postal worker who I handed my parcel to) and also brings an air of mystery to whomever receives the package. "What could it be?" "What could be inside this exotic packaging?" "Are the bananas scratch and sniff?... No, but hey, it's still nifty." All common responses to the revelation of the package inside the mailbox of the recipient. If you are looking for a finely-priced padded envelope with which to bombard people at your discretion with mail of any sort (care packages, divorce papers, anthrax, you name it) then this delightful package is highly recommended and will win the favor of all who receive it.
