I had these on for about an hour or so and they were not comfortable enough for me. The problem is the ear pads — the cushion and just overall design. I compared these to a pair of Bose headphones that I’ve had for over 10 years. And these were not the super expensive Bose Noise Cancelling — they were a pair I picked up on Amazon for casual listening to music for $45. The Bose ear pads completely envelope your ear and your entire ear fits inside the concave of the earpad. Ears are nestled in. The foam on Bose is very soft and comfortable and cushiony.The ear pads on Sound Design are the exact opposite. Earpads sit on top of your ears. They do not surround and envelope them so they’re sitting right on the cartilage. The foam padding is not super hard but it’s not super cushiony and feels kind of heavy on my ears (see sitting on the cartilage).I made a call with them and that was not a pleasant experience either. Not sure how to explain it but when I spoke, it was like hearing my own voice underwater. Kind of weird auditory affect but not an echo. It was like hearing my voice back internally and made it hard to concentrate on what I was saying next. Overall, not a good experience for me.Listening to music was just ok. No real bass.
