For context: my daily driver headphones I use on my PC are the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (80 Ohm)s, I am not an audiophile by any means, but sound quality is at least a bit important to me and I think these are fine. Not wonderful, but they get the job done in my opinion. Also, I use these with a Galaxy Z Fold 3 (previously a Galaxy Note 9) so I have no experience using them with iOS.The reason I bought these specifically is because the Amazon page for the original Cowin E7 no longer exists, I don't know what happened to the company since 2019, but my E7 has been reliable and I use it daily. On walks, exercising, at home in bed, on the train, etc. My old pair has taken quite the beating and time will tell if these are as durable. The major differences I can see between this model and the old one are:- Cosmetic changes (which I approve of, though they're still glossy as opposed to matte, which is subjective, but I don't like it)- The noise cancelling is... different? I can't tell if it actually cancels any noise actively, but it definitely makes the sound quality worse, so I wouldn't bother with it. With the old model I could tell that the active cancellation was working because I could actually *hear* the frequencies it used for active noise-cancellation, which was incredibly unpleasant-- however, it was never a selling point for my personal use to begin with. I would also note though that passively, this model blocks out noise much better than the old model, so I don't think noise will be a problem.- There's more bass this time which I'm not particularly a fan of. The content I consume is not particularly bass-heavy, so it ends up sounding a bit muffled... but I've managed to mostly fix it with custom EQ settings. Some other things I've noticed:- Personally I am not a fan of the button on the headphones, and in general on *any* headphones. I have never used it on purpose, and I'm not sure why people insist on having them, but this is likely just me.- Battery info on this and the old model is not displayed precisely through the bluetooth control panel on Android. It only displays battery to the nearest 10%, and I only saw it display odd percentages under 100%, so for example: 90% > 70% > 50% > 30% > 10% after which point it would warn that the battery was low, and then die after some time.- In general battery life is very good, and I find myself only needing to charge once every 1.5 weeks- Both this and the old model came fully charged out of the box which is nice, and I appreciate it.- The packaging for this model is lower quality than the old model, which had a two piece box with nicer cardboard and more stuff in general inside, it seems packaging was a corner cut for this model, though it's not really that important.- In Android, these headphones are displayed as "Cowin E7" whereas the old ones were displayed as simply "E7" with no other information.- The old model (and I suspect these) work pretty painlessly with Windows, and I actually used them for quite some time as my main headphones when my old daily driver suddenly failed, though I would not recommend them for use in calls, most people complain that they can't understand me through the mic on these headphones. That's all I have to say. I was satisfied with the old E7, and I'm happy with these. I don't know what the rest of the headphone market looks like at this price point, but I would recommend these regardless.Headset - 4 stars. Audio is good for an admittedly novice - the high bits sound high, the low bits sound low, and the really low bits are appropriately spine tingling. ANC does its job.It does lose a point from me for button positioning/management. A 'short' press of the +/- buttons actually skips you to the earlier/next track, and you have to /long/ press to change the volume. There's also no indication of just how loud/soft you've changed it too - very little feedback overall. It seems like volume changes would be much more common for the short presses. Also as someone who has some tactile/spatial location challenges, there are limited physical indicators of the button pad. It's the same texture as the rest of the side of the headset - there's only a slight groove to offset the panel. And there's no physical indicators of the exact spot to press for up/down/pause.This is the second pair of these headphones I have bought. The first set was great, but I broke them when I was sleeping. The second pair did not work properly; I paired them with my iPad and the sound was inconsistent and made a buzzing noise also. After charging the headphones for a further 24 hours they are now working great and I no longer have any issues. What I like About this Product is the Cowin Logo: Headphones On - World Off ... where the Noise Cancellation, the Sound Quality, and the Battery Life is a 5-Star Rating out of 5-Stars, not only that this product is very Sleek and Looks Great in White that I had bout another Silensys E7 Pro Headphones in a different color of Blue.I love everything about these headphones. I make beats with FL Studio 20, and need to be able to hear all of the highs and lows when creating music. I'm able hear sounds that I couldn't hear before in FL Studio 20 and songs that I listen to regularly. You hear the hats, snares, shakers, risers, etc., very clearly. Crisp highs and deep lows. You don't have to take my word for it though. I suggest that you try them and if you don't agree, simply return them. I guarantee that you won't want to return them. They even connect to FL Studio 20 via Bluetooth, which my Skull Candy wouldn't do. These headphones are worth every penny, hands down.Bought them to use when mowing fields. Even though the tractor is quite loud they work fine but after an hour or so my outer ears started to hurt a little (not from the sound). So, I have a large somewhat misshapen noggin, and these fit it quite well, my first pair is still going strong after almost four years of daily use. I gently got a second set for my office, expecting similar life if not more due to lower usage. Battery takes a while to charge, but lasts almost forever, all day and part of the night. It's a good one
